![]() I got the LUT Box in order to use my ScopeBox effectively and improve Resolve performance.Ĭhromatic banding, do you mean when vertical shapes move from side to side relatively fast it tends to "bleed"?Īn update regarding this post - I hope what you will read here will give you all some insight into the issues I have been experiencing, especially to those who are having similar problems and/or similar hardware - the matter has now been resolved, with startling results:Īfter several issues using CalMAN Studio Express I was forwarded onto Steve Shaw at Light Illusion who offered me a very good deal to trade-up to his Lightspace LTE software. I was using Resolve to output the LUT in Video Monitor only but have now purchased an eeColor LUT Box, but the conversions are proving difficult as it uses txt LUTs - should hopefully crack it soon, when I do I will cheer. Out of the box, I agree, it's a very well made panel. ![]() ![]() The i1 Display Probe struggles with low light, so had to turn on "Extend Low Light Handler" for 2 seconds, didn't before and it vastly improved delta results. However I'm using CalMAN Studio Express so limited in what I can do for now so can't directly control the Plasma through wi-fi in CalMAN. As it can only create a 17^3 cube for Resolve, so I did a 4913 Read and set the Plasma to Native Gamut as opposed to REC709 to minimise Plasma internal processing, very saturated but allowed the LUT to pull it back. Nice to find someone who has the same Plasma.
